The much-loved Jokerizer mode is back, and even better than before.
Wicked Circus builds on its predecessors, adding an extra-dark element, not to mention the exciting hold feature.
Wicked Circus is a five-reel slot, with three rows and just ten paylines. These paylines don’t all follow the same direction; five run left to right and the other five the reverse. The reels are a transparent mirrored surface where all the symbols sit and spin. Behind them, through this mirror, is a wooden hallway leading to a strange door behind a curtain. The reels are framed with an old circus-style lighting fringe, adding to the creepy essence.
There are only six symbols in this slot; some are the traditional icons with a twist, some are new circus-themed ones. These include some grapes, lemons and cherries – all with a slightly macabre twist to them – an illuminated seven, a stained bell and a knife-throwing target. The final symbol is the bonus symbol, represented by a manically-grinning joker. If you weren’t scared of clowns before this game, you might well be after just a few plays.
Entering the mysterious and creepy world of Wicked Circus is an exciting prospect, but there are a few things to note before doing so. Bets must be placed before spinning the reels, though there is a limit of just one coin per line. The minimum and maximum coin size ranges from 0.01 through to 1. Players can also use the Autoplay feature for their spins, simply setting the number of spins they wish the game to perform.
Up first is the Jokerizer mode. Any winnings that are earned in the base mode will get transferred to the Jokerizer balance displayed above the reels. At this time, players can choose to keep that balance or use it in the Jokerizer game. To access this mode, 20 coins from the balance must be paid for each reel spun. Landing two jokers during this mode pays out the Mystery Win, which can pay out anywhere from 40 to 6000 coins.
If the player wins at least 500 coins, they will be returned to the base game. An additional two jokers landed during this mode will enable the new ‘hold’ function. This means that players can pay an extra 60 coins and have those two jokers held for an additional respin. The Mystery Wins feature can also be accessed in the base game, though to trigger it, three jokers must be landed. The prize range is higher, though.
